Excellent, city centre location, near whisky, (whiskey), tartan and Scottish gift shops, plus numerous tourist attractions, museums, historic places, theatres, art galleries, restaurants within walking distance of the rental apartment. This quality apartment provides ideal accommodation in Edinburgh, for a holiday, vacation, business stay or short break at anytime throughout the year. Non Smoking, sleeps four persons. Personal attention assured at all times.
The accommodation is immediately beside Edinburgh Castle in Johnston Terrace. This street links the Lawnmarket and Royal Mile to the west side of the City, the Edinburgh Conference Centre, as well as the new Financial sector and Theatres in the West End of the City.
The apartment being situated next to the Castle, is only a short walk away from Princes Street renowned for its shops, Princes Street Gardens for its beauty or the Lawnmarket and High Street well known for their shops and attractions as well as their historical and pleasant buildings.
As there is much to do, to see, and to visit nearby and in the surrounding area, it makes the apartment the ideal base in which to stay and from which Edinburgh can be toured and enjoyed, to do what you want, when you want and how you want. It is also a well suited place in which to relax for coffee or wine during a busy or lazy day or before setting out to take in the varied evening and night entertainments on offer in Edinburgh.

The apartment sleeps up to a maximum of four adults. It has been completely restored and consists of a tastefully finished large lounge / diningroom with an antique fireplace fitted for your convenience with an electric fire.
The three windows of the lounge overlook Johnston Terrace, the Castle and the western skyline. Although the house has been fully upgraded to include gas central heating, it still retains original internal working wooden window shutters, natural wood finishes and plaster cornices. The fully fitted compact kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge.

An automatic washing machine / drier is housed in a small utility room. The modern bathroom has a shower, illuminated mirror and a dual voltage shaver point. There is a double bedroom and the second bedroom has twin beds, both windows of these rooms look out at the Castle.
